2011
RAGE COMIC ROYALTY
Me Gusta becomes a core cast member of rage comics everywhere — the official reaction to enjoying things you probably shouldn't. Shower water in the ears? Me gusta.
2012
WORLD DOMINATION
T-shirts, masks, keyboards, birthday cakes. The face is everywhere. "Me gusta" — Spanish for "I like it" — becomes the universal caption for questionable pleasure.
NOW
ETERNAL GUSTA
Memes die. Legends don't. A decade later the face still appears exactly when something feels wrong and right at the same time. That's forever content.
